Made from durable die-cast metal, this portable electric hot plate thoughtfully saves on countertop space while providing extra heating options--great when cooking and entertaining during the holidays or for use in small apartments, dorm rooms, or when traveling. The single burner provides fast, consistent heat and offers warm, low, medium, and high temperature settings. It can be used as a warmer to maintain serving temperatures, a range burner to get foods cooking, or as a hotplate to keep tea, cocoa, or coffee hot. Other highlights include a "power on" indicator light, non-skid feet for stability, and a low-silhouette design that stores away easily. After the appliance has cooled completely, it can be wiped clean using a damp cloth and a non-abrasive household detergent. An instruction manual with recipes comes included. The hot plate measures approximately 9-2/5 by 8-1/2 by 3 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
